In 2015, BCBank was proud to announce its donation of up to $1.75 million to the Promise Foundation of Barbour County for the facility at Philip Barbour High School’s George Byrer Field, promoting health and wellness to the area through community interest of athletics, programs and activities. This was the largest single donation by a community bank of this size in West Virginia.
The donation for the venue, BCBank Park, aimed to help the Barbour County community live a more active and physically fit lifestyle through use of the facility. The donations went toward an artificial turf playing and performance field, an eight-lane track, new field house, lighting, concession stand and restroom facilities.
